Madison River

The Madison.

The Lower Madison has been a very popular choice lately with the nice weather. Worms and crayfish, midge larva , and anything pink has worked well under the surface.  Every day I have been out I have found some fish on the surface as well.  Buzzball's, Griffiths gnats, and parachute adams all work.  At this point the Upper Madison is closed from Quake Lake to MacAtee Bridge.  I haven't heard much positive about the upper stretch so right now I would concentrate on the Lower.
