Missouri River

The Missouri River.

They have lowered the flows again on the Mo and it is very wader friendly.  On the right days the fish are keying on Midge dries.  If it is bright and sunny, you will have to go under the surface to get them.  Red Midge larva, lightning bugs and pink scuds are all the rage.  If you have success in a certain area fish it thouroughly.  If there is one fish in there, you should find quite a few.  Be sure to watch the weather reports before you go because this time of the year the wind can be your biggest enemy.
