Gallatin Tsunami

Right now we are in the grips of an icy winter. We have seen temps in the -20 degree range lately. Needless to say I haven't been on the water the past few weeks.

Here is a video that someone took capturing an ice jam that broke free on the Gallatin River in the canyon. Apparently, further down stream an angler had to be rescued as the river rose significantly. Quite an impressive sight for winter time.
